A BIT ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Patricia!

I have a background as a psychologist and addiction adviser, and have always sought to work alongside people to help them improve their lives. I’ve also faced and overcome my own physical and mental health challenges in life (including chronic fatigue/ME, persistent pain, depression and being clinically overweight). Each experience forced me to find better ways to get healthier, fitter, stronger and wiser.  I realised there were no quick fixes.  Instead, it came down to the same tried-and-tested methods every time: eating healthily, exercising appropriately to build a strong, fit body, working on my mindset to build resilience and positivity, and ensuring enough space to rest and recover through good quality sleep, stress reduction and mindfulness practices.

This is why I am so passionate about what I do - I've seen it transform my own life! However, I also know how hard it can be to fit all the pieces of the puzzle together, and to find the time, energy and commitment to develop really consistent daily practices that get us to our goals.  Whether we're struggling with life or we're just not feeling our best, it can be tough to find a way forward, but I know it can be done.  Over the years, I have learnt and developed many useful techniques and strategies to keep me working towards a life where I am constantly growing stronger, fitter, healthier and wiser.  I am passionate about bringing this knowledge and experience together to share with you as you move along your own journey towards fitness and wellbeing.

When I’m not working, I love to run (actually, I mostly like the shiny medals at the end of a race), to play tennis, to play in general!  I love to learn, to try different flavours, to travel and to absorb new experiences.
