The way we work together is tailored to fit both your short-term needs and long-term goals.  The balance of what we do in a particular session depends on your ultimate goals.  Sometimes we may spend more time talking and discussing goals and strategies for life change, other times it is about moving, exercising and working out. 

 

Whatever we do together, you will be challenged, supported and encouraged to be the best you can be.

Body

BODY: EXERCISE AND MOVEMENT

This is vital for good health so most sessions include some form of physical activity. This could be a full personal training session where we work your whole body to build up strength, endurance and cardiovascular fitness.  Or it could be a 'walk and talk' session or a run in the park, with some simple core and flexibility training incorporated.  We work with what feels right for your body and your aims.

MIND

MIND: MOTIVATIONAL COACHING AND MINDSET PSYCHOLOGY

During each session, we look at what is holding you back from leading the life you want to be living, and together we work to make those changes. Accountability is key to success and I am here to support you as a partner in your goals; regularly checking-in both during and in-between sessions helps to keep you on track with the changes you want to make. 

ENERGY

ENERGY: NUTRITION EDUCATION AND COACHING

Guided by your goals, we look at simple changes you can incorporate into your own eating habits to improve your nutrition so it best supports your body. If weightloss is your aim, we discuss ways to kick-start your body to burn more fat through exercise and dietary changes.  We cut through the confusing messages the media presents about how to lose weight and instead put in place some healthy eating strategies to help you achieve your goals.  

REST

REST: RESTORATIVE RECOVERY AND MINDFULNESS

We look at ways to relax, create better sleep patterns, reduce stress and support your body to recover between sessions. We may include simple mindfulness and relaxation exercises to help you stay focused and better able to cope with stress.
